SLES PTA Fundraising
The SLES PTA raises funds to directly benefit the students and staff. Through a variety of events, sales, and corporate partnerships, we are able to support field trips, assemblies, classroom supplies, playground equipment, and the latest technology. We appreciate your support!
Fundraising Events
ASAP: After-School Activities Program (ASAP) is a PTA volunteer-run program which offers after-school enrichment classes in two separate 8-week sessions each school year. The sessions are offered in Fall and Spring. Look for awesome classes like Flag Football, Drama, Chess, Wizardry, Tennis, Choir, Run Club, Coding, and more!
Back to School Picnic: Join old and new friends, classmates and neighbors for a fun night! There will be music, dancing, raffle prizes, spirit wear to order and more!
Spooky Fall Bingo: This event includes a fun evening of Bingo games & prizes!!
Spirit Nights: The PTA partners with local businesses to have Spirit Nights for Seldens families on specific nights at local restaurants and businesses. Crafting at AR Workshop, taking a class with The Dailey Method, or having dinner at Chick-Fil-A are all examples of our past Spirit Nights. Watch for announcements throughout the year and come join us for a meal or fun activity while supporting the PTA!
Fundraising Sales
School Supply Kits: PTA offers a hassle-free option to parents to shop for school supplies. Orders are taken in the late spring for the next school year. The supply boxes are placed on the students' desk prior to the first day of school. No fighting crowds or lugging the supplies to school! All the supplies your teacher requests are included in the box.
Spirit Wear: Cardinals Spirit Wear is designed and sold by the PTA all year long. Look for order forms in the fall and our table at various PTA and school events!
Square1 Art Program: Our PTA works with Square1 Art in the fall to turn your child's artwork into useful keepsakes and boost your child's self esteem.
Coming home to you soon will be your child's custom catalog for the Square 1 Art fundraiser. Get a head start, and start ordering keepsakes and gifts featuring your child's art online NOW, if you like! Simply search for your child's art using Art Search, and enter state, school name, and your student's name. Your student's art and code will appear, and you may order!
Corporate Partnerships
Corporate Sponsors/Donations: We are more than grateful to accept any donations from corporations worldwide, regional, or local! If you are employed by or have connections to a corporate a charitable giving program, please consider donating to our PTA! We are a registered charity on Benevity, which partners with major corporations to streamline the giving process. Please email us with any questions.
General Mills Box Tops for Education
Box Tops has gone digital! Don't miss out on earnings for Seldens Landing - make sure you've got the new mobile app on your phone, and scan your receipts within 14 days for instant credit. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents for our school. Use the “Give Credit” feature to tag earnings for your student's grade! To date, we've earned a total of $240.50. Our goal is to earn $1,000 this year! Relink your Giant Card at the start of each school year!
After you register your card, each shopping trip at Giant using your GIANT CARD earns CASH for our school! Each month, the amount of CASH awarded will be updated on the Giant website. You can track the amount of points you earn for our school by checking your grocery receipt and online when you create an account at www.giantfood.com. Click here to designate your card.
Harris Teeter's Together In Education
Relink your Harris Teeter VIC card at the start of each school year!
Harris Teeter’s Together in Education (TIE) program gives schools a chance to earn funds when you link your VIC card and shop Harris Teeter brands. Your VIC card must be re-linked yearly, beginning every August 1st. Seldens Landing is now making it easy to link your card. Simply fill out this online form and we’ll link your account for you! You can also link your VIC card in store using our school code: 5849. To date, we’ve earned a total of $347.42! Our goal is to have 115 linked accounts (currently at 108)! Let the cashier know you support our school or enter your invoice number online, and Office Depot will give our school 5% of your qualifying purchase amount!
